Re: Way to take vitamin C with Polycythaemia Vera

As far as I know, vitamin C only helps absorption of non-heme iron, meaning iron not from animal sources. So it shouldn't make a difference if you take vitamin C close to eating meat or other animal sources, although you are probably minimizing these foods.

Re: IV DMSO and its miraculous effects!

Why is IV even necessary. The way I understand it is that DMSO goes in so easily throught the skin that it shouldn't need IV. Clarification please?

Re: Vascular Dementia

Make sure his B12 level is above the range. A normal blood level may not be enough to ensure proper cerebral spinal fluid level.

Also, check out the research on citicoline.

Re: Owen's Blood Still Clumping

To deal with blood clumping, I suggest purchasing an Earthing sheet from the earthing.com company. Read the book.

Re: My heart is blown wide open

Actually Owen, from what I've learned, even without proper stomach acid and intrinsic factor, a percent or 3 of a 1000 mcg dose of B12 will be directly absorbed. Even if it's only 10 mcg, that can have an influence.

Re: Artificial statin versus niacin?

Hi Mary, Why don't you try non-flush niacin, as inositol hexanicitonate. It's 6 niacins surrounding an inositol molecule, so it's released slower and doesn't cause flush in most people. It's probably not quite as effective as regular niacin, but it works. I've used it successfully to lower people's ...

Re: Sodium Ascorbate - mass

Thanks Owen, According to this, the sodium is 13%, so there is only one sodium. That agrees with Wikipedia, David and other products I've seen. So I will conclusively accept that sodium ascorbate has one sodium atom, not two. I just checked Wiki and found that, similarly, calcium ascorbate has only ...

Sodium Ascorbate - mass

Wikipedia lists the mass of sodium ascorbate as 198.11, because the chemical formula listed there has only one sodium. I thought that both of the active sites have the OH replaced by Na, but according to the above, this only happens in one of them. What's the truth here? The answer to this is signif...
