Re: This is what I take every Day

Cardiac pain may occur as pressure or pain of the jaw/teeth due to connections between thoracic and cervical dermatomes (from the Roots of T1 up C2) and also a connection between cervical dermatomes and the trigeminal nerve. This short circuit could be genetic or the result of a prior spinal injury....

Re: My Cardiologist wants to switch my statin

While I guess were going to have to educate your doc a little bit. The problem here is since Prinzmetal or aka Variant angina or aka vasospasms are a random occurrence and unless your hooked up to a EKG when they occur they are elusive. So based on this one must turn to symptoms and reactions to cer...

Re: My Cardiologist wants to switch my statin

The half life of Imdur (Isosorbide monitrate ER) is 5 hours and action cycle is 12 hours. I guessing this ladies doc is dosing her on 30mg. Once a day! Which means it isn’t doing nothing after 12 hours and the pain is returning then sublingual Nitro only gives about 30 minutes relief. I’m also guess...

I see the word Calcium in a lot of your posts but I haven’t found any blood levels.
Could you share this.
It’s usually on the CMP part of the report!
Also if your doc ordered a, “calcium, ionized” test please included that.

Re: Help Very High Triglycerides!

Most people that take gemfibrozil usually become very familiar with the porcelain stool in their house and places of work. :( I would first go with niacin first providing all looks well with your liver and pancreas also a good look at your thyroid to make sure it’s performing as it should. Have they...

Re: Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) - The Anti-Fat Vitamin?

I’m a little confused as to what your trying to accomplish here with B5?? I’ll let this quote from wiki show why the confusion. Although pantethine can serve as a precursor for generation of vitamin B5 and consumption of therapeutic amounts of pantethine results in higher circulating concentrations ...

Re: Thyroid hormones repair/replacement

See if medicare will cover Liothyronine (Triostat) or Liothyronine sodium (Cytomel) if they will, then ask your doc about using them instead of Armour. These are synthetic forms of T3 usually covered by most Ins. Co. Their made by Big Pharma so they have the FDA approval. Check and see first. But th...

Ok so you give the body excess galactose and in excess quantity by bypassing the natural digestive process, you are then burdening the leloir pathway and the excess cannot be catabolized to glucose, the residual is then degraded to galactitol. The increase in galactitol then cause changes in the eye...

Sound familiar ????? Caesium chloride has a low toxicity to human and animals. Its median lethal dose (LD50) in mice is 2300 mg per kilogram of body weight for oral administration and 910 mg/kg for intravenous injection. The mild toxicity of CsCl is related to its ability to lower the concent...

Re: Can Blood Type Determine Food Choices

I tend to agree that there isn't too much benefit with this way of dieting but some may benefit. To me it kind of looks like a way to sell some products. I would say "It's up the individual to try and see!" Here's some links on this subject: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC389...

First I would ask your doc if he knows the difference between Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), dexpanthenol??? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantothenic_acid https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panthenol Dexpanthenol is also known as a B5 Shot! It’s also used as a fortifier for skin crème. Dexpanthenol has ...

Re: Daily Propaganda - It just keeps on coming

First thing I noticed about the author of this hit piece her name didn’t have a MD or PHD after it. So after reading the article it became apparent they are a “FOODY!” Most of the FOODY article’s I have read, seem to have one thing in common and that is the authors have a big problem with figuring o...
