It would be interesting to know if his patients were consuming it in the form of powder, like Linus Pauling was, or as capsules or tablets.
The devil is in the details.

I noticed that 500 mg tablets gives me acute GERD while even 30g/hour doses don't...

It would be an interesting experiment if you could take another product (from the same supplement company) that contains an equal amount of the fillers and excipients but no ascorbate, to see if you got the same reaction from their non-ascorbate products.

Can you share with us what the non-medicinal ingredients are of the vitamin C product you took that caused you to experience GERD symptoms?

From my experience

1 Lypo-C per hour for 20 or so hours during a flu - not much benefit.

When I, or others, take the 5 Lypo-C at one time - poof - seems to have a dramatic effect on viral illness.

Owen,

Do you feel the way the Lypo-C is taken makes a difference? I know livon says it should be taken 15 mins before meals, but sometimes that isn't possible. Do you think it makes a significant impact on the absorb-ability or effectiveness of the Lypo-C?

Thanks for the reply.

As I tried to point out - taking 5 together was more potent against a virus than 20 spread out over 20 hours.

I can imagine that interactions with food might damage a nanoparticle, so while I do not know, I would take seriously what Livon says.
