Are there any people on here that had their plaque reduce from VC?

Meaning you had a calcium score then you repeated it 12 months later and it went down. I'm shocked that there aren't more people on here stating they have reversed their CVD. I mean if I reversed mine I would still stop in on the forum even if was to just reassure people that they are on the right track.. sometimes I have second thoughts

Just Mt 2 cents

I would have it done but my PC doesn't believe that Vitamin C is the reason for my arteries being clear..so can't get her to order it .. I had a mesenteric duplex ultrasound that showed 50% narrowing in the superior and celiac arteries and she won't repeat that test either..because it might prove that Vitamin C really works ..

would a Lp(a) test work also?
I mean, if someone had a high CAC score, they would also have a high Lp(a) score, so you do PT and then get a new Lp(a) score and it would be lower?

I am in total agreement with guitarplayer007,
I understand the concept behind pauling therapy. whereas " atherosclerotic plaques in heart disease are actually part of a repair process, to repair the arterial damage caused by chronic vitamin C deficiency. "--Pauling
so now enough vit C and your body cannot repair the cracks/wear tear of the arteries with collagen(vit C is required to make collagen as is lysine) so it uses lp(A)

when thelack of collagen causes the arteries to start cracking and needing to be repaired. it exposes the collagen. As these cracks open up, the collagen strands in the wall of the artery are teased apart. The triple helix collagen strands are normally bound together with lysine crosslinks which are now teased apart and exposed to the circulating blood stream.

The Lysine residues look like little flags waving from the damaged collagen strand. The exposed Lysine strands are available for binding to circulating Lipoprotein (a), a special form of cholesterol that has lysine receptors, and is known to increase heart disease risk. This attachment of lipoprotein(a) to the free lysine residues of damaged collagen initiates the atherosclerotic process. Over time, this process builds larger plaque deposits which eventually narrow the inner diameter of the artery causing a blockage, or leads to plaque rupture and thrombosis, a catastrophic event which may cause heart attack or sudden death.

so getting enough vit C and lysine should stop this from happening

but once it does start happening, can it be fixed?
if so, why does no one brag about them reducing Lp(a) from a high number to a low(0) number?>

that's great news
and you think Pauling therapy is the cause of the drop?
what changes did you make in a year?
what is your LP regimen?

I only eat healthy carbs no refined foods.. I also eat some meat but only local and free range..have my own garden organic. Do not smoke and only have red wine socially..and only one glass lift weights and walk most every day..but sometimes I slip and eat something decadent ..but not often.. I try to stay active and busy. I'm retired and 72. Still skiing every winter ..I do standup paddle boarding an kayaking in the summer and love swimming but in fresh water not swimming pools..
And yes I know that it was the PT that made the difference in Lpa
