I read this :

"Aspirin™ depletes the body of the life-saving nutrient folic acid (as well as iron, potassium, sodium and vitamin C)."

http://drsircus.com/cardiovascular/dang ... dications/

and this:

"Aspirin also depletes your body of important nutrients, including vitamin C, vitamin E, folic acid, iron, potassium, sodium, and zinc, as well as impairing your melatonin production

Will the PT work even when taking 81 g of aspirin daily as mandated by cardiologist to thin blood?

Thanks for catching the typo, yes mg is correct.

I'm already very lean, and exercise a lot. Hitting about 10 g of C per day, Lysine, 7.2 g, and
Proline: 1.5 g

Aspirin is standard blood thinning therapy to prevent clots after having a stent put in. (Two stents after severe blockage and angina.)

Lp(a) is on my next blood work list.

Thanks for the links. We know from the Stone Vitamin C book (The Healing Factor -- which we have online at our main web site) that long ago it was discovered the aspirin can damage the stomach lining, and that taking vitamin C neutralizes aspirin and prevents the problem. Personally, I would take more vitamin E, more Omega 3s, to achieve the effect your doctor is hoping for using aspirin, but as long as you are also taking vitamin C, the danger of creating holes in your stomach is reduced.

When I was experimenting with 80mg Aspirin (long discontinued) at the beginning along with Pauling therapy, despite, it always caused bloody stool afterwards. Phosphatidylcholine helped to prevent that in my case.
