“Why no sweets with vitamin c? Just curious as I take my C and lysine with 2 oz of pom juice.”
So I believe one can see taking sugars in any form is adding a competitive substance to getting the V-C into the system and getting it to where it’s needed. So it’s best especially when you are already exhibiting signs of high tri’s to give some space in time between the consumption of these two products. Then you’ll have the benefits both can bring!!
Hope this helps in your understanding of this process!
so sugar and vit C use the same transporters, because they look alike"? is that why some sugar meters read vit C as sugar?
a few questions, if you dont mind:
1 if sugar inhibits uptake of vit C, does insulin stimulate the uptake of vit C?
2 so you arent saying only eat fat or eat a high fat diet, you are saying, dont eat sugar when you take vit C?
3, what do you think of this article about how is harder to gain weight on a all sugar diet than an all fat diet(same calories) https://bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/ ... -fat.html/
because fat gets stored as fat and carbs/sugar has to first fill all glycogen stores, then if you still have left over sugar, be converted to fat.
4 not eating vit C around when you eat sugar/carbs, makes another reason to eat 1 or 2 a day(fasting, or /intermittent-fasting/ http://www.lift-heavy.com/intermittent-fasting/
so eating 1 or 2x a day, around workouts, or a small 5-8 hour eating window, seems like a smart ideam whether you are obese or lean, just get your nutrition,, vitmins, proline/lysine, vit C, D, k2, k, EFAs, etc
