I can't think of a good Centrum formula (and they have several specific formulations these days).

The thing that I especially don't like about this one is that sterols, the active heart-healthy ingredient in this product, can negatively-impact the absorption of fat-soluble nutrients. I don't think taking sterols at the same time as certain nutrients (like CoQ10, fish oil, vitamins A, D, E, K, etc.) is wise.

I also don't understand why they don't put at least 100% of the RDA of certain nutrients - like zinc and biotin. I understand why they can't fit enough calcium or magnesium in two-tablets but other, less-bulky, nutrients should be included in (at least) the RDA.

I sometimes wonder who formulates these products. But, to be fair, I often find myself wondering the same thing with many health-food store brands as well.
