Had blood work done, over the phone nurse informed it was 9 but with out any engineering units. I picked up the hard copy and learned that it is 22 nmol/L. She was reading the wrong line. Is this number high low or acceptable?

In nmoles/l the number 70 is generally consider normal, and roughly equivalent to 20 mg/dl. But the normal should be marked on the lab report. Barring some unusual measure, your Lp(a) seems to be very good.

Do you have the other cholesterol numbers?
