I've only done it a couple of times but found it very easy. I go with the outer quad and follow the typical procedure, ie. sterilize, add air bubble to needle after injectable, aspirate, etc... Make sure you are very confident of what you are doing before self-injecting as there are some risks, eg. infection, going IV when you want IM, etc. Perhaps the nurse at your doctor's office can show you how to do it.

I bought the Sandoz Vitamin C and it states on the package that it needs to be stored between 15 and 30oC, and kept in the dark. There are multiple ampoules in the pack and any leftovers in the needle I discard to be on the safe side.
