High Vitamin C dosage with a pacemaker

Post by m.hash » Thu Jan 26, 2012 7:08 am

Hello,
My mom had her pacemaker surgery a couple of days ago. I was wondering if her heart still needs a high dose of Vitamin C, Lysine and coq10. Her current dose is:
Vitamin C :11gm
Lysine: 3gm
Coq10: 800mg

Regards,
m.hash

Waited for johnwen's opinion, but sure, why not? You want to keep the arteries feeding the heart strong - thus clear of blockage.

How long had she been taking that PT dosage?

Don't know why I missed this one???
Pacemaker's only help conduction and have no bearing on muscle health or plaque formation. Vitamin C does!
Right now she needs V-C more then ever because of the damage done placing the pacer and getting the pocket cut in her chest to heal and lock the unit in position. This can take up to a year which can be shorter on V-C.
If the pacer moves around and causes discomfort 3-m Microspore tape placed on the bottom and outside edge of the unit will hold it stable. The tape allows the skin to breath and can be left on for long periods and is not affected by water. It's good stuff!!
SO YES Stay on V-C as much as tolarated.
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is
research!
