"Taking large doses of vitamin C may moderately reduce blood pressure, according to an analysis of years of research by Johns Hopkins scientists. But the researchers stopped short of suggesting people load up on supplements."

Yes, and "big" doses are defined as 500 mg!?!

I'd like to know who the scientists are that advise against high dose vitamin C! (We know that one of the greatest of all time recommended 6000 mg to 18000 mg daily!)

And I fear that johnwen may be right that this is the study causing the stir. Last night on the local news, a well advertised story about how taking vitamins is a waste of money...
