fish Oil was the Problem?

Post Number:#1  Post by chimp » Sun Nov 12, 2006 6:19 am

For many weeks I kept having general itching all over, after taking the megadoses of vitamin C[along with other supplements]. It even continued when taking just 500 milligrams per day. After stopping the fish oil supplements, the itching reaction stopped and I am back up to 6-8 grams per day of vitamin C again.

There must have beeen something toxic in the fish oil supplements. Mercury? I don't know.

What was the brand? I wouldn't give up on fish oil (there are good Omega-3 alternatives though). Why not try another brand?
