What are the differences between the two, besides one being water soluble and the other fat soluble? Would you advice adding Ascorbyl Palmitate to our daily vitamin C regime?

Is mega dosing Ascorbyl Palmitate a bad idea since it contains Palmitate?

I don't know anyone who megadoes ascorbyl palmitate. Dr. Levy recommends it in his books, along with sodium ascorbate and liposomal as a three pronged approach. The advantage is that as a fat soluble antioxidant (like vitamin E and alpha lipoic acid) it can work its magic in cell membranes and perhaps the nucleus. Reach places the water soluble ascorbate cannot.
