pureway-C vs livon liposomal C

has anyone used pureway-C, which is ascorbic acid with lipid metabolites. Not real sure how or if this differs from liposomal C, except it's a hell of a lot cheaper. It's shown to be more effective than other forms though:

PureWay-C is more rapidly absorbed and leads to higher serum vitamin C levels and greater reduction of plasma levels of inflammatory and oxidative stress markers than other forms of vitamin C, including Ester-C.

I find it curious the study used calcium ascorbate instead of sodium ascorbate, but other than that, it shows Pureway-c is just marginally better absorbed than ascorbic acid at 1g. Liposomal C can be taken in large quantities without gastric problems, and the whole point is, it would be delivered straight to cells. The study does not include any Liposomal C.
