what did i do to my ankle?

Post Number:#1  Post by zarfas » Tue Apr 24, 2018 10:50 am

I wake up or after laying down for a few hours, my left ankle barely supports any weight.,
I "walk" around by hobbling, using the left leg as a walking stick, trying to keep pressure off of it for fear it will snap.

after about 10 -20 minutes, the leg/ankle is "warmed" up, and I can walk pretty much normally.

Walking up/down stairs where the left ankle gets strected hurts.

is it a sprained ankle?

any ideas?"

I dont recall hurting it, twisting it or any tramua to it;

Don't know it you experience arthritis. However, just now came across a blog of someone who got it at 7, and apparently got rid of it with elimination diet:

thanks

interestingly, I slathered the foot/ankle with DMSO cream drom Jacbobs lab and this morning, no pain.
sure it isnt 100% painfree when I walk, but I was able to by pass any "warming up" stage
so I felt it was a win

I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.

thanks for the link, I agree and have seen much evidence about what you eat does affect your body

I won a contest in 2012 and lost 80ls or so and on(Weights+treadmill+500calories/day)

day 1 we had past winners come tell us about the many medications they tossed because they lost lots of weight
and then Dr mcdougall talks about how a high fat diet leads to disease
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyRuDpqYuvY

dr levey tells me how dairy leads to fractures/cancer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwi9iZvudXA

Dr weston tells me how nutriton leads to good dental health, not so much hygiene
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyRuDpqYuvY

Dr Dach tells me how to reverse cad
http://jeffreydachmd.com/how-to-reverse ... ium-score/

I dont have any link to a succient PT page, and dr dachs page is LOOONNNNGGG

and a simple survey tells me that being too fat leads to CAD.cancer and all cause mortality

About being fat, just came across another blog of a guy who really wanted to know which diet would lead to what, by going to the extreme of 5000 kcal daily first 3 weeks on a ketogenic diet, after a washout period the same indulgence on high-carb junk food diet, and lastly again 3 weeks on a vegan diet.

Of course, as even this extreme blogger admits, everyone has different physiology - and the way it worked for him might not work for someone else.

Start reading from the 3rd article backwards, since that is the time-order he made this experiments and then better to understand.

why? read? what is the point I'm supposed to get from reading what that dude wrote?

I gotta say,

Your dude is claiming he was eating 5K calories on all the diets for 21 days?
that's just bad news all the way,
reminds of the guy who said mcdonalds was bad(supersize me) because he ate mcdonalds for 30 days, mcdonalds 3x a day and eat every item and supersize when he could...in one scene his MD tells the dude, (spurlock) he's eating 5K calories a day...but very unlikely maybe, 3 big macs meals supersized would do it

People do usually underestimate calories they eat and overestimate how much they move(burn)

3 diets?
1 keto... go read Ketogenic diet by lyle mcdonald
https://www.amazon.com/Ketogenic-Diet-C ... 0967145600
or from his site
https://store.bodyrecomposition.com/pro ... enic-diet/
The Ketogenic Diet is the only book to take an objective scientific look at all aspects of low-carbohydrate from physiology and metabolism to training and how to set up different types of low-carbohydrate diets.
Ive read it and have no questions
Keto diets are fine, if you are trying to lose a bunch of water weight(since carbs make you retain water, lose the carbs then the glycogen isnt there to store water and you lose a bunch of water weight)
or adolescent epilepsy but I dont that details

2 vegan diet can be a hogwash...
I know a vegetarian friend who is fat as FK
just cause you are a vegtarian or vegan doesnt mean you are healthy, it just means you dont eat meat OR able to take some supplements( B and K come to mind, which you cant take if you dont eat meat)
-so I see lots of beniefts right away from not eating meat, (lowerfat, no HCAs, no hormones) but as you see in the link at the end, you can eat whatever you want, but if you count calories, you can be lean

3 high carb diet is also pretty bad because you'll def make new fat cells or make fat
Lyle Mcdonald explains how you get fat
https://bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/ ... -fat.html/

in my vast experience with people and myself, diet plays a huge role in health and is only 2nd to NOT BEING FAT
prof ate 80% vending machine food and still lost fat
