where can I get one from?

Abbott's new FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/fda-approv ... ger-prick/

U.S. regulators have approved the first continuous blood sugar monitor for diabetics that doesn't need backup finger prick tests.

Current models require users to test a drop of blood twice daily to calibrate, or adjust, the monitor.

The pain of finger sticks and the cost of testing supplies discourage many people from keeping close tabs on their blood sugar, which is needed to manage insulin use and adjust what they eat.

Abbott's new FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System, approved Wednesday by the Food and Drug Administration, uses a small sensor attached to the upper arm. Patients wave a reader device over it to see the current blood sugar level and changes over the past eight hours.

zarfas, et. al., you realize that I have this monitor, and we had been intensely discussing using it to measure vitamin C levels after taking various forms of vitamin C? There are 5 pages of discussion of the Abbott Libre here:
http://www.vitaminc.foundation/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13681

I love you sir, but Zarfas it does seem like you do post randomly without a lot of thought, which distracts from important discussions. Do me a favor and resist the impulse to post. Wait 24 hours, and if your input still seems pertinent - go right ahead.

Im very confused
I made this thread about finding a way to measure glucose without a fingerpick for someone with TTD who currently pricks his finger, not often enough

so what "important discussion" am I intruding on in my thread?

and, this thread is dead, I havent posted in 10days, because I got the answwer I was seeking...
:? :? :? :? :? :?

And yet another waste of a thread and peoples time with a dumb ass question which you could have googled.
Seriously this forum is being dragged down to Arsefas level.
We want to ask and learn and discuss serious issues and this 15yr old boy is dumbing the general intellect down and the pleasure it used to be to come on to the forum.

This forum, ideally, does no censorship and has been a beacon of free speech. I have already reluctantly deleted "blade" (zarfas's previous login) once before, for the same basic reasons. Whether deliberate or not, his posts are always distracting to the central discussion. So I am going to create a poll (while everyone still has interactive forum privileges :) The question will be whether zarfas should remain a member, or whether I should delete all his posts?

I had to create the poll in a new topic..
