This is a good article - if you work for a large drug company and make money when people become chronically ill. Otherwise, the question has to be asked of the author and media source, why would you want to harm the health of your readers? Where is the balance, i.e. the contrast with prescription medications, which are one of the largest, if not the largest cause of death

And apparently (I don't see them on my news feed) there are news reports how the Internet is unfairly attacking statin drugs - possibly impairing people's health!. Oh no

Its a one sided battle, at least for now. We learn from the Positioning book on marketing (by Trout and Ries) that it is difficult to impossible to change minds. (A lot of advertising $$ is wasted trying to do this.) Linus Pauling's name is a threat, but otherwise it is wasted effort to try and tell people that what they believe is wrong. In our beginning, the people who came to us, came only after they had exhausted all other medical options, were in extreme pain, and their own doctors told them to search the Internet for something.
